Global, Category, and Product-Level Price Rules

Set one global default for the entire WooCommerce store, then add exceptions only where they are needed. Hidegator uses a predictable rule hierarchy:

1. Individual product override.
2. Direct product category rule.
3. Nearest configured parent category rule.
4. Global price visibility rule.

If several category rules apply at the same level, the most restrictive result wins. This prevents a secondary category from accidentally exposing a protected price.

Important: Hidegator controls whether a WooCommerce price is visible and what action replaces it. It does not remove products or categories from the catalogue, and it does not calculate different price amounts for different roles. A separate visibility or dynamic pricing plugin is required when those functions are needed.
